Client Presentation- Surfers for Autism

Surfers for Autism is a non-prifit organization dedicated to the introduction of the sport of surfing to children with special needs.  The therapeutic benefits of this activity to children and young adults within the autism spectrum cannot be put into words and must be experienced, I have volunteered numerous times for this organization. This organization could use a new more distinctive image, and I will be creating a new typeface, called Interact, to help portray what this organization is truly about.

For the final label, I duplicated the Bonne Maman label and then changed it from Strawberry Preserves to Cherry Preserves. I was unable to find a font that matched the "Strawberry Preserves" type face so I hand did it with the pen tool and then found a font that matched the bottom font and just adjusted some of the letters (like the "F"). I enjoyed this project but after getting about half way through I wish I had chosen a different product and a different script font, one with more fluidity and space between letters. I really enjoy working with Adobe Illustrator and am becoming more comfortable with the pen tool.
